Station History
Meidaimae Station first opened its doors in 1913. Over its long history, it has undergone name changes, initially being known as Kayakukomae and then Matsubara until 1935, before adopting its current name. Its strategic location has made it a consistently busy station, serving over 107,000 daily passengers in fiscal year 2016.
