Kōchi

Hirome Ichiba is a sprawling indoor food market and communal dining hall in central Kochi where locals and visitors gather to eat, drink, and socialize. Over 60 food stalls cluster around shared tables, serving fresh seafood, grilled bonito (katsuo tataki), gyoza, and local specialties in an intentionally chaotic, smoky, high-energy atmosphere. The experience is as much about the sensory overload and mingling with locals as it is about the food itself.

Kochi Castle stands as one of Japan's rare original castles, offering visitors an authentic journey into the Edo period with its well-preserved architecture and historical exhibits.
