This station is distinct from the other Asakusa Station complex, which serves the Tobu Skytree Line, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and Toei Subway Asakusa Line. While these stations share a name, they are approximately 600 meters (2,000 ft) apart, requiring a street-level walk for transfers. There's also no direct transfer corridor to Tawaramachi Station on the Ginza Line, despite being only 300 meters away.

Travel Tips

When planning your journey to Asakusa, be mindful of the different Asakusa Stations. If your destination is the Tsukuba Express line, ensure you are heading to this specific station (TX03). For connections to other lines like the Tobu Skytree, Ginza, or Asakusa Lines, be prepared for a short walk at street level between the stations. This Tsukuba Express station is located further west, away from the Sumida River and the main tourist areas like Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, which are closer to the other Asakusa Station complex.
