The station is part of the Osaka Metro's Chūō Line, identified by the station code C22. It is located 16.1 km from Cosmosquare, the starting point of the line. Takaida Station features one island platform serving two tracks, providing efficient service for daily commuters. Takaida Station officially opened its doors on April 5, 1985, making it over 40 years old. Since its inauguration, it has played a vital role in connecting residents of Higashiōsaka with the wider Osaka metropolitan area. Travel Tips
When planning a transfer between Takaida Station (Osaka Metro) and Takaida-Chūō Station (JR West), remember to factor in the street-level transfer time. Although the stations are physically close, the lack of a direct connection means you'll need to exit one station and re-enter the other. This is particularly useful to know during peak hours or inclement weather. Check local maps for the most convenient street-level routes between the two stations.
