Ōtagawa Station, located in Tōkai, Aichi Prefecture, serves as a vital transportation hub for the city. Station History
Ōtagawa Station has a rich history, having first opened its doors on February 18, 1912. A major modernization project took place between March 2003 and December 2011, which involved the elevation of the tracks. On December 17, 2011, the station was reborn as a three-story elevated structure, significantly improving its efficiency and capacity. Historically, the Ōtagawa Inspection Depot was also located adjacent to the station.
