Station History
Kintetsu Koriyama Station has a rich history, having first opened its doors on April 1, 1921. Over the years, it has operated under several names, including Daiki Koriyama (1928–1941), Kankyu Koriyama (1941–1944), and Kinki-Nippon Koriyama (1944–1970), before adopting its current name. The station is designed to be accessible, featuring an accessible slope for the east ticket gate, two slopes for the platforms, an accessible bathroom, and equipped wheelchairs, ensuring a comfortable experience for all passengers.
