Hirokōji Station (広小路停留場) is conveniently situated in the Awara-machi and Honmaru-machi areas of Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. This at-grade station provides easy access to the surrounding city. The station is an integral part of the Man'yōsen Takaoka Kidō Line, operated by Manyosen. It is located 1.7 km from Takaoka Station. Hirokōji Station features two platforms and two tracks. Notably, there's a point on the Takaoka Station side, where the line becomes single-track towards Takaoka Station, while remaining double-track towards Koshinokata.
Station History
Hirokōji Station first opened its doors on April 10, 1948. Originally known as Izumi-chō, the station was officially renamed to Hirokōji on May 7, 1958, marking a significant change in its identity within the city's public transport network.

When traveling through Takaoka, Hirokōji Station offers a straightforward connection to the Man'yōsen tram line.
