Notably, there's a point on the Takaoka Station side, where the line becomes single-track towards Takaoka Station, while remaining double-track towards Koshinokata.

Station History

Hirokōji Station first opened its doors on April 10, 1948. Originally known as Izumi-chō, the station was officially renamed to Hirokōji on May 7, 1958, marking a significant change in its identity within the city's public transport network.
