This 5 km (3.1 mi) elevated monorail system connects Maihama Station to various major resort destinations, including Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, resort hotels, and commercial facilities. The trains, known as Type C (100 series), offer a unique and scenic journey around the resort.
Station History
Passenger service on the Disney Resort Line, including Tokyo Disneyland Station, commenced on July 27, 2001. This opening occurred shortly before the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea, highlighting the station's role in the overall development and accessibility of the Tokyo Disney Resort.
