Station History
Sōgosandō Station first opened its doors on April 1, 1928. Interestingly, it was known by a different name, Sōgo, until 1951, when it adopted its current designation. The presence of the Sōgo Rolling Stock Depot (宗吾車両基地) nearby means that many trains begin or terminate their journeys at this station, highlighting its operational importance within the Keisei network.
