Rinkū Town Station is strategically located in Izumisano, Osaka, serving as a vital transportation hub for the Rinku Town commercial district, which is directly adjacent to Kansai International Airport. Railway Lines
The station is a joint operation between West Japan Railway Company (JR West) and Nankai Electric Railway, featuring two island platforms and four tracks. It serves the Kansai Airport Line (JR West) and the Nankai Airport Line. With the exception of the Kansai Airport Limited Express Haruka services, all trains traveling to and from Kansai International Airport make a stop at Rinkū Town Station. The station is identified by the Nankai station number "NK31" and the JR West station number "JR-S46".
Station History
Rinkū Town Station officially opened its doors on June 15, 1994, making it over 30 years old. Its establishment was crucial for supporting the development of the Rinku Town area and facilitating access to the newly opened Kansai International Airport.
