With the exception of the Kansai Airport Limited Express Haruka services, all trains traveling to and from Kansai International Airport make a stop at Rinkū Town Station. The station is identified by the Nankai station number "NK31" and the JR West station number "JR-S46".

Rinkū Town Station officially opened its doors on June 15, 1994, making it over 30 years old. Its establishment was crucial for supporting the development of the Rinku Town area and facilitating access to the newly opened Kansai International Airport.
