Ōzone Station boasts a rich history, with its various lines opening at different times. The Meitetsu Seto Line began operations here on March 1, 1906, making it the oldest line at this location. The JR Chuo Line followed on April 9, 1911. The Nagoya Municipal Subway's Meijo Line commenced service much earlier, on December 20, 1876, though its connection to Ōzone might have been established later. The newest addition is the Yutorito Line, which opened on March 23, 2001, further enhancing the station's connectivity.
