Omorimachi Station is conveniently located in the Ōmori section of Ōta, Tokyo. This accessible station features two side platforms situated on an upper level, connected to the ground floor by stairs, escalators, and elevators. Railway Lines
The station is an integral part of the Keikyū Main Line, a vital transportation artery in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Station History
Omorimachi Station first opened its doors in December 1952. However, the location has a deeper railway history, as it was previously home to Ōmori-San'ya Station (originally San'ya Station) from 1906 until its closure during World War II. The platforms, initially at ground level, underwent a significant modernization, being moved to new elevated tracks in two phases: the Shinagawa-bound track on May 16, 2010, and the Uraga-bound track on October 21, 2013, enhancing efficiency and safety.
