Station History
The Tsukuba Express portion of Moriya Station officially opened its doors on August 24, 2005, making it approximately 20 years old. Since its opening, the station has seen a significant increase in passenger traffic, reflecting the growth and development of the surrounding area. In FY2019, the station recorded an impressive daily average of 25,559 passengers, a substantial rise from 14,021 in FY2017.
