Station History

Mino-Matsuyama Station officially opened its doors on February 24, 1929. Historically, during the final period of Kintetsu operations, approximately half of the daytime trains from Kuwana Station terminated here. However, as of February 2025, only the last train departing from Kuwana Station concludes its journey at Mino-Matsuyama.
