Station History

Matsuyamachi Station opened on March 31, 1990, as part of the initial launch of the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. Originally operated by the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau, the line and its stations, including Matsuyamachi, have been under the operation of Osaka Metro Co., Ltd. since 2018.
