Kitashinchi Station (北新地駅) is a crucial railway hub situated in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan. It's nestled within the bustling Kitashinchi dining and entertainment district, making it a prime access point for visitors exploring Osaka's nightlife and culinary scene. Notably, at 23.95 meters (78.6 ft) below sea level, it holds the distinction of being the deepest station within the entire JR West system. While officially separate from the main Osaka Station, passengers can seamlessly transfer between the JR Kobe Line or Osaka Loop Line at Osaka Station and the Tōzai Line at Kitashinchi, and vice versa, using certain tickets and passes.

Kitashinchi Station opened its doors in 1997. Its station symbol is an 'ear of rice' (稲穂), a nod to its proximity to Dojima, where a rice market was historically located during the Edo period. The station's designated color is brown, adding to its unique identity.
