Station History
Opened on June 26, 1938, by the Kansai Rapid Electric Railway, Kintetsu Nagoya Station initially featured two bay platforms and three tracks. Due to a significant increase in passenger numbers, the station underwent a major expansion between 1964 and 1967, adding two new platforms and tracks to accommodate the growing demand. This expansion solidified its role as a crucial transportation hub in the region.
