Station History
Kintetsu-Nagashima Station first opened its doors to passengers on June 26, 1938. Initially, it was known as Kinki Nippon-Nagashima. The station operated under this name until 1970 when it adopted its current designation, Kintetsu-Nagashima. With a daily ridership of 2196 passengers in FY2019, it continues to be an important local hub.
