Kamimaezu Station officially opened its doors on March 30, 1967, making it over 50 years old. In 2009, the station recorded an average daily ridership of 19,658 passengers, highlighting its importance as a busy transportation hub.

Travel Tips

When using Kamimaezu Station, remember its station codes are M03 for the Meijō Line and T09 for the Tsurumai Line. If you're heading towards Kami-Otai on the Tsurumai Line, the preceding station is Ōsu Kannon (T08). For the Meijō Line, Higashi Betsuin (M02) precedes it anticlockwise, and Yabachō (M04) precedes it clockwise. Its direct access to the Ōsu Shopping Arcade makes it a perfect starting point for a day of shopping and exploring.
