Station History
Jiyūgaoka Station first opened its doors on August 28, 1927. Initially, it was known as Kuhombutsu-mae Station, a name it held until 1929 when it was renamed Jiyūgaoka. This historical evolution reflects the growth and development of the surrounding area into the popular district it is today.
