Station History
Originally opened on November 17, 1929, under the name Iwatsukicho Station, the station underwent a name change in 1939 to its current Iwatsuki Station. The station facilities were significantly rebuilt in 2014, modernizing its infrastructure to better serve its growing number of commuters and travelers.
