Location & Access
Itakura-tōyōdaimae Station is situated in Itakura, Gunma Prefecture, making it the easternmost station in Gunma and the sole Tōbu Nikkō Line station within the prefecture. It's also the only station serving the town of Itakura. A fascinating geographical quirk of this station is that the three consecutive stations (including Itakura-tōyōdaimae) are each located in different prefectures: Gunma, Saitama, and Tochigi.

Station History
Itakura-tōyōdaimae Station officially opened its doors to passengers on March 25, 1997. Since its inauguration, it has served as a vital transportation hub for the local community and students attending the nearby university, as reflected in its name which includes "Tōyōdai-mae" (meaning "in front of Tōyō University").
