Hisaya-Ōdōri Station is conveniently located underground in Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Its central position makes it an excellent starting point for exploring the city. The station is seamlessly connected underground with Sakae Station, providing access to the Meijō Line and Higashiyama Line, and with Sakaemachi Station, the terminus of the Meitetsu Seto Line. It is situated 3.3 rail kilometers from the Sakura-dōri Line's terminus at Taiko-dori Station and 3.4 rail kilometers from the Meijō Line's terminus at Kanayama Station. The station code for the Meijō Line is M06, with Sakae (M05) preceding it anticlockwise and Nagoyajo (M07) following clockwise. For the Sakura-dōri Line, the station code is S05, with Marunouchi (S04) preceding towards Taiko-dori and Takaoka (S06) following towards Tokushige.

Since its inception, it has been operated by the Transportation Bureau City of Nagoya, playing a crucial role in the city's public transportation network.
