A unique aspect of this station is its name: "ひぐち駅" (Higuchi-eki) is intentionally written in hiragana (Japanese phonetic script) rather than kanji. This decision was made to prevent confusion with another station named Higuchi on the Chichibu Railway, ensuring clarity for passengers and railway operations.
