Daimon Station is strategically located in Minato, Tokyo, just west of the iconic Shiba Daimon (Great Gate of Shiba). This gate serves as a grand entrance to the historic Zōjō-ji temple, making Daimon Station an ideal starting point for exploring this significant cultural site. The station is also directly adjacent to Hamamatsuchō Station, a major transportation hub served by JR East and the Tokyo Monorail, providing seamless connections to Haneda Airport and other parts of Japan.
Railway Lines
Operated by Toei Subway, Daimon Station is a crucial interchange for two of Tokyo's vital subway lines: the Toei Asakusa Line (A-09) and the Toei Ōedo Line (E-20). The Asakusa Line operates with two side platforms, while the Ōedo Line utilizes a single island platform, both underground. Interestingly, the Ōedo Line station was initially planned to be named "Hamamatsucho" but ultimately adopted the name of the existing Asakusa Line station. In some automated announcements, the station is even referred to as "Daimon Hamamatsucho" to highlight its close proximity and connectivity.

For those traveling to or from Haneda Airport, the adjacent Hamamatsuchō Station offers direct access via the Tokyo Monorail.
