Телебашня Mirai

In the city centre, amid a green boulevard, stands a 180-metre TV tower built in 1954. It is the only tower in Japan that is designated as a cultural property. Admission to the observation deck is ¥1,300. In 2021 the stair-climb speed competition — from the very bottom to the top of the tower — was resumed.
