Философская тропа
The Philosopher's Path is a two-kilometre trail running along a canal in the Higashiyama area, famous for cherry blossoms in spring. The path is lovely at any time of year — it’s lined with cafés and shops, and you can stop at shrines and temples along the way. One of Japan's most respected philosophers, Nishida Kitarō, walked this route to university every day and practiced meditation here.
