Railway Lines

Station History
Yaotome Station officially opened its doors on July 15, 1987, making it over 38 years old. Interestingly, an earlier Yaotome Station also existed on the Sendai Railway, which was abolished after World War II. This current station continues to serve a significant number of commuters, with a daily ridership of 7,857 recorded in FY2015. It also currently holds the sub-station name "Serenity Hospice Yaotome-mae" until March 31, 2028.
