Station History
Yamato-Futami Station has a long history, having first opened its doors on June 3, 1902, under the name Futami. It was later electrified in 1984. The station's name was changed to Yamato-Futami before 1919, reflecting its location within the historical Yamato Province. With an average daily ridership of 205 passengers in 2019, it remains an important local transportation hub.
