Station History
Yagi Station first opened its doors on August 15, 1899. Historically, some express trains used to stop here, catering to commuters before the line's electrification. However, following the electrification and subsequent upgrade of these express services to limited express trains, Yagi Station was no longer a stop for them. Today, it primarily serves local and rapid services, connecting Chiyokawa towards Kyoto and Yoshitomi towards Sonobe.
