Station History
Wakasa Station officially opened its doors to passengers on December 1, 1930. Over the decades, it has continued to serve the residents and visitors of Wakasa, maintaining its role as a key point on the Wakasa Line. In fiscal year 2018, the station recorded an average of 249 daily passengers.
