Tsurumaru Station is nestled in the town of Yūsui, within the Aira District of Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. For those arriving by bicycle, a convenient bike shed is available.
Railway Lines
The station is exclusively served by the JR Kyushu Kitto Line. Travelers can head towards Miyakonojō, with Kyōmachi Onsen being the preceding station, or towards the Yoshimatsu Terminus. The Kitto Line is known for its picturesque routes through the Kyushu countryside.
Station History
Tsurumaru Station officially opened its doors to passengers on February 1, 1958. In 2013, the station recorded an average of 79 daily passengers, highlighting its role as a local transport hub for the community.
