Station History
Tsunashima Station first opened its doors on February 14, 1926. Interestingly, it was originally known as Tsunashima-Onsen until 1944, hinting at the area's past as a hot spring resort. The station has since evolved into a modern elevated structure with two side platforms and two tracks, handling a significant daily passenger volume, recorded at 103,630 in FY2019.
