The station is a stop on the Nishi-Nippon Railroad Tenjin Ōmuta Line, situated 41.4 km from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. The preceding station is St. Mary's Hospital towards Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin), while the following station is Yasutake towards Ōmuta. Historically, some trains originating from Fukuoka (Tenjin) used to terminate and turn back at Tsubuku Station due to track capacity, a practice that was discontinued with the timetable revision on March 14, 2026.
Station History
Tsubuku Station first opened its doors on November 1, 1921, making it a long-standing part of the region's transportation network. For many years, it played a significant role in managing train traffic, particularly with numerous express trains from Fukuoka and local trains from Kurume reversing here. The station continues to serve a considerable number of passengers, with an annual ridership of 2100 in FY2022.
