Its name, meaning "Sky Bridge Station," is derived from a nearby pedestrian bridge over the Ebitori River, completed in 1993. Railway Lines
The station is jointly operated by two major railway companies: the Tokyo Monorail and the private railway operator Keikyu. The Keikyu Airport Line connects Tenkūbashi to Keikyū Kamata and onward to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. The Tokyo Monorail's Haneda Airport Line provides direct access to Monorail Hamamatsuchō and Haneda Airport Terminal 2.
