Station History
Tazawako Station first opened its doors on August 31, 1923, making it over 100 years old. Interestingly, it was originally known as Obonai Station until 1966 when it adopted its current name. In fiscal year 2012, the station recorded an average of 346 daily passengers, highlighting its role in local and regional transport.
