The station is operated by the private transportation company Nishi-Nippon Railroad (NNR) and is identified by station number T29. It is an integral part of the Tenjin Ōmuta Line. Station History
Opened on October 6, 1933, St. Mary's Hospital Station has a rich history. Until recently, it was known as Shikenjōmae Station (試験場前駅), which translates to "testing center." This former name originated from the Fukuoka Prefecture Kurume Industrial Testing Center, which was located nearby when the station was first established. The renaming in 2024 reflects the station's current primary landmark and its role in serving the hospital.
