Railway Lines

Station History
The Midōsuji Line section of Shinsaibashi Station first opened its doors on May 20, 1933, making it one of the older and more established stations in the Osaka Metro system. Decades later, on December 11, 1996, the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line platforms were added, significantly enhancing the station's capacity and connectivity. Travel Tips
When using Shinsaibashi Station, be aware that it features two island platforms, one for each line, with a total of four tracks. Given its popularity, especially during peak hours and weekends, the station can be quite busy. Look for clear signage to navigate between the Midōsuji and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Lines, and follow directions for the Yotsubashi Line connection to Yotsubashi Station.
