Shido Station (志度駅, Shido-eki) is conveniently located in the city of Sanuki, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Shido Station has a long history, having first opened its doors on August 1, 1925. Over the decades, it has served as a vital link for the community. The station underwent a significant rebuild on April 17, 1998, modernizing its facilities to better serve the increasing number of passengers. In fiscal year 2019, the station recorded an average of 2,024 daily passengers, highlighting its continued importance.
Travel Tips
When visiting Shido Station, note that while parking is available, it is limited. Given that all trains stop here, it's an ideal starting point for exploring Sanuki and the wider Kagawa Prefecture. From Shido, you can easily connect to Sanuki-Mure (T20) towards Takamatsu or Orange Town (T18) towards Tokushima. For those heading further, Limited Express Yashima (T23) provides connections towards Kojima.
