Seibu Chichibu Station is strategically located in Chichibu, Saitama, serving as a gateway to the scenic Chichibu region. It holds the distinction of being the westernmost and northernmost station operated by Seibu Railway, and also the westernmost station among major private railways in the Kanto region. The station is the terminus of the Seibu Chichibu Line, 19.0 km from Agano. It features one side platform and one island platform, accommodating three tracks. Station History
Seibu Chichibu Station officially opened its doors on October 14, 1969. Since then, it has grown to be a significant transportation point, managing all stations between Musashi-Yokote and itself as a district chief-managed station. In fiscal year 2018, the station recorded an average daily ridership of 7,229 passengers, highlighting its importance to both local commuters and tourists.
