Station History
Opened on April 15, 1928, Sanuki-Shirotori Station has a rich history. Until December 15, 1956, it was simply known as Sanuki-Shiratori. In its heyday around 1975, the station was a bustling hub for freight, handling raw material imports and product shipments by rail, employing over ten freight personnel. This historical significance highlights its past role in the local economy.
