Station History
Rikuzen-Tomiyama Station first opened its doors on April 10, 1928, initially under the name Tomiyama. It was renamed Rikuzen-Tomiyama in 1944. The station underwent significant rebuilding in 2015, ensuring modern facilities for its passengers while maintaining its historical connection to the region's railway network.
