When planning your journey, note that Rikuzen-Akai Station is 43.1 km from Aoba-dōri. The preceding station on the Senseki Line is Higashi-Yamoto (towards Aoba-dori), while the following station is Ishinomakiayumino (towards Ishinomaki). For Senseki-Tōhoku Line rapid services, Yamoto is the preceding station towards Sendai, and Ishinomakiayumino is the following station towards Onagawa or Hebita towards Ishinomaki.
