Railway Lines

Station History
The station officially opened on January 26, 1952. Prior to 1991, the JR East portion was also known simply as Ōwani Station, before being renamed Ōwani-Onsen Station to highlight the area's famous hot springs. In fiscal year 2016, the station recorded an average of 212 daily passengers, indicating its consistent use by commuters and travelers alike.
