Location & Access

Osatsunai Station was situated in Urausu, within the Kabato District of Hokkaido, Japan. While no longer operational, its coordinates were 43°28′25″N 141°50′24″E. As a rural station, it likely served the local community of Urausu and the surrounding agricultural areas.

Station History

Osatsunai Station opened its doors on December 1, 1959, providing vital rail access to the Urausu area for over six decades. However, facing declining ridership, with an average of only 0.8 daily passengers between 2013 and 2017, the station was officially closed on April 17, 2020, as part of the partial abandonment of the Sasshō Line.
