Travel Tips
A notable feature of Nakanosakae Station is its inclusion in the alternative transport system with the Sendai Subway. In cases of service disruption on the Senseki Line's Sendai City section (between Nakanosakae and Aoba-dōri), passengers may be eligible for alternative transport via the Sendai Subway Tozai Line (between Aobadori-Ichibancho Station and Arai Station), with Arai Station designated as the alternative transfer station for Nakanosakae. This provides a valuable backup for commuters and travelers. The station opened on April 1, 1981, and in FY2018, it served an average of 5580 daily passengers, highlighting its importance to the local community.
