Station History
Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station first opened its doors on January 2, 1945. Initially, it was known simply as Naganohara Station. The station was renamed to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi in 1991, reflecting its importance as the primary access point for Kusatsu Onsen, making its role clear to travelers.
