Railway Lines
The station is a joint operation between the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the third-sector Hokuetsu Express. It serves as an interchange point for two significant railway lines: the Jōetsu Line and the Hokuhoku Line. On the Jōetsu Line, the preceding station is Shiozawa towards Takasaki, and the following is Itsukamachi towards Nagaoka. For the Hokuhoku Line, Shiozawa (limited service) precedes it towards Echigo-Yuzawa, and Uonuma-Kyūryō follows towards Naoetsu. The station features one side platform and two island platforms, facilitating smooth transfers.
