Moriyama Station (森山駅, Moriyama-eki) is conveniently located in the city of Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture. Situated specifically in Moriyama-cho, Shimoimuta, it offers a gateway to the surrounding area. The station is an integral part of the Shimabara Railway Line, a route operated by the third-sector railway company Shimabara Railway. Moriyama Station features two side platforms, facilitating smooth passenger flow. It is located 7.5 km from Isahaya Station. The preceding station on the line is Kantakunosato (towards Isahaya), and the following station is Kamanohana (towards Shimabarakō).
Station History & Operations
Moriyama Station officially opened its doors on June 20, 1911. Today, it operates as an unstaffed station, meaning there are no personnel permanently on site.
