Mizuta Station (水田駅) is a passenger railway station situated in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan. Specifically, it's located in Higashiyamazaki-cho, Takamatsu City. Operated by the private transportation company Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad (Kotoden), it is designated with station code "N07". The station offers bicycle facilities and is accessible, despite being unstaffed.

Mizuta Station serves the Kotoden Nagao Line and is positioned 5.8 km from Kawaramachi. Notably, Mizuta Station, along with Fushimi Station on the Kotohira Line, are the only two elevated stations within the entire Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad network, offering unique views of the surrounding area. It features a single island platform.
Station History & Naming
The station officially opened on April 30, 1912. Interestingly, it is said to be named after a prominent historical figure bearing the surname Mizuta. In the early Heisei period, until the early 1990s, there were even morning rush-hour trains originating from Mizuta Station bound for Kawaramachi, highlighting its past significance as a starting point for commuter services.
